We are so lucky to be surrounded by brilliant pubs. Some are perfect for a pint, some for a hand stretched pizza or some a Devon reared 28 day hung sirloin steak.
All however are dog friendly and welcoming, these are just some we visit regularly.
Below they are listed in distance from the hotel nearest first.

A great village pub full of locals and very welcoming. Dean and Lyne greet everyone with a smile and of course a delicious pint.
Our top tip
All of the walks directly from the door can finish at this pub, where you can reward your efforts with a pint.

This community owned pub is a pub of outstanding interest having won the CAMRA Herritage Pub of the Year Award. It is a quintessential thatched Dartmoor Inn...We personally love this pub, everything a good country pub should be retaining all of its authenticity. https://www.drewearms.org
Our top tip To work up an appetite before lunch or an early dinner head to Fingle Bridge (5 mins from the pub), park up and walk the 2 hr circular route through the Teign Gorge, rivers, views, woodland and a castle.

Picture perfect village and pub. Beautiful renovation and really good pub food. Perfect stop after a day on the moor before heading back to Weeke Barton.

A small but perfectly formed Dartmoor pub, our favourite on the moor. Cask ales and great pub food all housed in a granite flagstone floored pub. In the summer there is a great garden with ducks running around and a small stream for the kids to play in.
